Deer Sky Picture Jasper

Deer Sky is an uncommon picture jasper from the Owyhee mountains of the Oregon/Idaho border area. Mined by only one person and sold as he is retiring and downsizing. This is a really nice picture jasper with gray skies and rolling hills. This particular rough also has a a super unique feature- a scattering of small (and hard to photograph) pyrite specks, giving the sky the appearance of stars right after dusk or on a bright moonlit night.
