Old stock Ethiopian blue chalcedony, a nice medium blue and glowing translucence. Clean except for a very minor amount of fortification banding. This material was imported many years ago by a cutter who is now retired, and was surface collected in Ethiopia by a local associate of his. I hate trying to draw the line of the “ethical” label but this is about as eco and socially conscious as it gets for rock.
