Red Green Blanket Jasper

This is an interesting multicolored rhyolite jasper from Chile with a sage green background and bands of red, ochre, and metallic black running through it. This material doesn’t generally do much for me but I found one very high quality slab of it to cut a few cabs from, however it was a thick slab so these are very thick (~9mm) stones and as such a bit heavy. Really interesting and unique though.
