Skaggs Jasper

Skaggs Jasper from eastern Oregon in a nice teal color with a small amount of patterning. This is a float jasper, meaning that it is surface collected because the deposit that it comes from eroded away a long time ago leaving pieces of jasper all over the watershed it flowed into. Very difficult to find but an absolutely gorgeous colored material that takes a very fine polish
